I'm happy to report that after having quite a bit of time sitting at home alone and having plenty of thinking time I am back to fabulous and I know just what I need to do and I feel completely okay with it all, yay!

Well, thanks to the snow many of my fun plans were ruined, but oh well, such is life. Wednesday night I just stayed in and relaxed, but by Thursday night I was getting stir-crazy and lonely since I haven't even had my roomie since basically Monday night, luckily Bubu braved the roads and rescued me over to O'Rourkes, where we had a couple drinks with Kate and Ray.

Neil's phone call also entertained me for a while that night until Bubu came to get me, it was sweet, he called because he knew we were supposed to come to Lawrenceburg and one of he and Ryan's other cousins called and said the Indy friends were on their way, and he called to check on me and make sure I was okay since the roads were terrible, even though we weren't really and his cousin is insane, it was a sweet thought. Good news/bad news also came with that call. He got offered an awesome job in Atlanta, so that is fabulous for him, but I'm ridiculously sad in a way too because I highly doubt that we'll continue to go on dates and see where things go with the huge distance, him driving here from Cincy was one thing, flights from Atlanta are another completely beyond financial means, at least for me. We haven't been in any type of committed relationship to try to make it survive, so maybe we'll still talk, but I think odds of anything more coming out of it now are slim to none, which is kinda sucky, but you know, I hadn't had any time to get majorly attached to him so my heart isn't exactly going to break, and there are plenty of other guys out there, just have to find another nice one, but I'm only 22, no big rush, and who knows, if I don't meet anyone else and he gets a job in Chicago like he hopes to someday maybe we could start things up again. Yes Jake, I know I think too much, so shhhh! :)

Friday I had to run a few errands once my car was shoveled free thanks to my dad, then went to dinner and Christmas Eve mass with my family before I came home to watch Christmas movies. Today I woke up and went over to my parents' house to have brunch and open our immediate family presents, then came home for a few hours to do laundry before meeting back up with them for dinner at the only place in the city that is open on Christmas, King Chef, yay for yummy Chinese food! Tonight I'm just relaxing with more movies, then tomorrow afternoon we're doing Christmas with the rest of the family at my aunt and uncle's house. Among other things, I am especially excited about getting my Boy Meets World Season 1 on DVD and also Season 1 of Gilmore Girls on DVD, plus since I keep my DVD/VCR combo in the living room since my bedroom TV already had a VCR attached, I finally got a DVD player for my bedroom TV, hooray!

So once again, Merry Christmas, and I hope you all had a most wonderful day!!!

What a crazy time it's been!!!

Friday night Jenn, Yoosuk and I were downtown at Have a Nice Day Cafe with a bunch of Jenn's co-workers who were super fun and nice enough to let Jenn and I crash at their place rather than drive my extremely drunk self back home. Let's just say the dollar you call its led to me laughing hysterically for no reason on their kitchen floor. :)

Saturday after recovering I drove to Columbus to visit my little brown sista! Yay for time with Suzy! We ended up having dinner and then just hanging out at her apartment because we were both too tired and cold to attempt any bars, but next time when I'm there for the whole weekend we will for sure!

Sunday evening we were all over at Jake and Bob's to watch the Colts game, although I admit that I was upstairs sleeping in Jake's bed during the entire thing, whoops, so much for my power nap! But his bed is just so comfy, who can really blame me?! :)

Monday night I just relaxed around the apartment, then last night Jake came over after work and we hung out for a while before it was time for me to crawl into bed for my last day of work until next week. Woo-hoo, at least the alternative calendar teachers are allowed 4 days off for Christmas!

Right now I'm about to cook my dinner then in theory, assuming the weather is okay and the right factors fall into place, I'm going to Average Joe's and then Retro Rewind at the Vogue with everyone. Hopefully it will be retro for real this time, unlike the night before Thanksgiving when they disappointed us terribly after we raved to Missy Hess about how great it was and we were so glad she could come into town and go with us. Then, again with the weather being the deciding factor, Kate and I are going to Lawrenceburg tomorrow to see the Hess's and go out in Cinci. Wish us luck! :)

I'm happy to report that although not totally sure what I need to do still, I am feeling a lot better about things, and only time will tell what will develop.

I spent Sunday and Monday night relaxing and recovering from the busy weekend.

Tuesday Jenn and I went to the mall and Meijer, yay fun shopping!

Last night Jenn, Kate, Bubu and I went to see a preview of In Good Company. The movie was all right, nothing I would recommend paying nine dollars for, but it was interesting enough, I'm not the best to pass judgement since I get antsy easily so of course I was not totally into the movie.

I just got home a little while ago tonight from hanging out with Jake, made some dinner, and now I'm just relaxing and watching TV since I have another full weekend ahead of me!

After a week of shopping with Jenn, relaxing with Jake, and hanging out at Katie's house, it all ended in what our group has been looking forward to for over a year, and as Katy and Jenn said this morning, what now? We have nothing major planned anymore that we are all involved in to be excited about and look forward to, although Miller promises that he will go find a girl in Cleveland to propose to and give us more excitement. Missy and Nick's wedding day has come and gone, and it was the best wedding ever. I'm not just saying that because I was in it, I really think it went perfectly and with our group of friends being so close it was a very emotional time. Friday afternoon we had the rehearsal with Lynette the crazy wedding planner, then had a great rehearsal dinner at Buca's, then the guys and girls split for the night. Saturday we went in at 7 am to get our hair done, and all of us got a hairstyle that was fabulous and suited us very well. Then we had a quick Panera break before heading over to the church for makeup and getting dressed. The bridesmaids dresses were awesome too, Missy picked one that flattered everyone. Then of course after 3 hours of pictures the big moment arrived, and the wedding was absolutely beautiful. The reception was fabulous too, so easy to have fun surrounded by friends and dancing to great music, the time there flew by, the night was over before I realized it. Missy was the most beautiful bride too, she and Nick are so lucky to be so in love and perfect together, I know their life together will be amazing.

But even with all of that being so wonderful, I am missing part of me, I don't mean to be a downer and I'm not getting into it on here, but I am just not totally happy and I have no idea how to make myself totally happy again, I feel lost.

As I sit at home alone on a Saturday night (by choice though, I must admit that while offered Broad Ripple and the slight temptation was there, I had to pass in order to get healthy again and therefore not be blowing my nose on the altar next weekend, not attractive) Plus it probably wouldn't be too smart to be out walking in the cold air either, that tends to mildly set off my asthma on a normal day, and with already being kinda wheezy I don't want to risk it.

Last Friday night I headed over to Jake and Bob's, where Jenn, Katy, Yoosuk, Ray and I headed off to Avalon, but we didn't stay long due to everyone there being 40 or older, so then we headed over to Kip's to meet up with everyone else (including Tom and Miller who were in town, yay!) after we called and told them not to bother meeting us at Avalon and wasting their money on the cover. Kips is always a good time though, I've missed going there lately, I vote we go more often, especially with winter approaching and Broad Ripple becoming harder since no coat in winter is bad, but it's also hard to have a coat while dancing.

Saturday night Kate and Maryann came over to hang out with Jenn and me, then we met up with Bubu at O'Rourke's and had a relaxing evening catching up with the girls, that was fun. :)

Tuesday night Bubu and I went over to Missy's house to help her prepare bells for the reception, watched Gilmore Girls and Sex and the City also. Then I stayed the night since it's closer to the school anyway and there was no reason to drive back into Castleton only to lose extra sleep time before work.

Thursday night I babysat and then went back over to Missy's to hang out with her and Beth for a while.

Last night was fun, Neil came back into town and took me out to Bennigan's, then we rented The Terminal and came back here and watched it with Jenn and Yoosuk, then we went to bed, but stayed up talking quite late into the night, which was nice, we keep finding out more about each other with all these convos, I enjoy that. He was still being all gentlemanly and opening car doors and regular doors for me too, this is a first for me, it's sweet, but hopefully he doesn't feel like he always has too, I've been trying to catch some doors for him, keep it even you know hehe. :) I find myself developing a major crush on him, but help keep me grounded ladies, k? I can't get too excited until I know where it's going to lead, it's still a long distance thing which I know can be an obstacle when trying to get to know someone, but if we both continue to want to make the effort I know it it possible to make that work, so we'll see where it goes. :) When I talked to Missy today she said to bring Neil because they have extra space at the wedding and reception, and while I was not even considering bringing a date prior to meeting him since I'm a bridesmaid and I have obligations to that and won't be able to pay attention to him until partway through the reception, with Neil being Hess's cousin he would have people he knows who aren't in the bridal party to sit with during the wedding and reception, plus he met everyone at the Halloween party and has spent time with Jenn and Yoosuk down here, so I would still be free to circulate and not feel like I had to stay with him all the time to make sure he was okay. I talked to Hess tonight and he said that Neil can come down with him and the wife so that he wouldn't have to make the drive again, so I'm going to give him a call tomorrow and see if he would even want to come. (See, prime example right there of my needing to stay grounded and not get overly excited about things :) I must be breezy, but not say I'm breezy, since that negates the breezy. ;)

This morning after Neil and I woke up and he headed home I relaxed with some TV, then napped and woke up to a lovely dinner cooked by my lovely roomie before I headed off to babysit for a few hours. Which by the way is a totally awesome way to make some extra cash on top of my salary, these parents pay so much more than I ever got in high school or even college, they are thrilled to have someone who is always with kids willing to do it, so they're so fabulous with what they pay in order to get someone who they trust more than a high schooler, and since they are parents of my students the kids already know me, it rocks! Gotta love Montessori, I would so not be allowed to be this close to public school kids and their families. I'm even going to get paid Friday night to sleep at one of their houses while they are out of town, woo hoo!

Anyway, it's approaching 11 pm and sad as it sounds, I am getting tired, so I must wrap this up, pop in a movie, and eventually fall asleep. Goodnight all, I hope you had a fabulous weekend :)
